Pornographic Easter eggs left in Florida mailboxes

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. _ Mysterious Easter eggs filled with crackers, toilet paper and pornographic photos were secretly placed in multiple mailboxes throughout Flagler County, according to a Monday morning news release issued by the Sheriff's Office.

Sheriff's deputies are now trying to find out who's masterminding the bizarre Easter egg hunt.

"The person who did this is not only a very sick individual but could actually be spreading COVID-19 by their actions," Flagler Sheriff Rick Staly said in Monday's news release. "We are working to identify the offender and put them in the Green Roof Inn. If anyone else receives something like this or has information on who did this, we ask that you call us immediately."

The sheriff's office received several calls about the explicit eggs. According to deputies, the residents said the flag on their mailboxes was left in the up position. When they looked inside, they found a plastic Easter egg. Inside the egg, residents found a fish-shaped cracker, one sheet of toilet paper, a powder drink mix and a crumpled piece of paper containing a pornographic image, according to the news release.
