Popworld nightclub confirms opening date for new venue in Nottingham

Nottingham's newest nightclub has announced its official opening date for those ready to add some cheese to their night.

Party-goers will soon be able to dance the night away to the latest chart tunes and some party classics as Popworld opens its doors in June.

Popworld says it is a late-night bar with a difference – "cheese with style".

Visitors will be greeted by friendly bar staff and party the night away with like-minded fun-loving people, the venue says.

Located in The Poultry/Cheapside, opposite the Council House, the club will play all of the cheesy pop tunes customers want to hear – and offer a range of cocktails.

The new bar and club is located where the Squares bar is, close to Bridlesmith Gate.

In an official Facebook post, the club said it would be opening to the public on June 25, 2021.

Popworld has venues up and down the country but this will be the first one in Nottingham.

The club is also promoting a chance to win a VIP Popworld experience for four people on its opening night on Facebook.

People were excited by the announcement and ready to dance the night away when it opens its doors.

"This is so exciting," one person wrote.

"I can’t wait for this moment," said another.

Bookings can be made on the Popworld website.

Nottinghamshire Live has contacted Stonegate Group, which runs the venue, for more information on the opening.
