A popular Wishaw beauty salon is in the running to be named number one in Scotland.
Beauty Box Wishaw, on Glasgow Road, is asking customers to vote for them in five categories of the SHABA awards in a bid to make the shortlist.
As well as being nominated for best salon, several employees are also up for awards.
Frances Smith has been nominated for Best Nail Artist, Chloe Thomson is up for Best Make-Up artist alongside Joanne Thomson, who has also been nominated for Best Brow Artist.
Joanne said the staff were all delighted to be in the running.
She added: “This is the first year we have been nominated. We’re really excited. We’re just a small community salon. We never imagined we would be up against the best in Scotland.
"It’s an honour and I’d like to thank the customers who have already voted for us and ask those who haven’t to please do so. We’re really grateful for the support.”
Each voter will be entered into the SHABA19 fantastic prize of two tickets to the awards show and a host of luxury products to the value of £500 for one lucky
winner.
Beauty Box Wishaw staff recently volunteered at the Strictly Kids event in Glasgow – In aid of STV Children’s Appeal.
The Scottish Hair, Beauty & Barbering Awards, The SHABA’s as they are affectionately known, are Scotland’s largest and most successful, industry-endorsed awards.
