Popular vegan brand Oatly to hand out FREE coffee in Bristol - here's how to get it

Commuters in need of a boost next week will be able to get their hands on a free cup of coffee.

Popular oat milk brand Oatly is launching a pop-up shop in Bristol city centre, serving a range of vegan-friendly hot drinks.

Those with a sweet tooth will be pleased to hear that Oatly will be handing out free hot chocolate at the Anchor Square pop-up, using its new Chocolate Deluxe Oat Drink, while free tea will also be on offer

The Swedish brand hopes the giveaway will encourage more people to make the switch from dairy to the oat-based drink, which a spokesperson said produces 73 per cent less CO2e emissions than cow's milk.

Coffee will be supplied by Extract Coffee Roasters, which provides sustainably-sourced and roasted arabica coffee, while Good & Proper, which sources from both ethical and sustainable tea farms, will help serve up the tea.

Oatly's pop-up coffee shop will be in Anchor Square (next to We The Curious) on January 21 and 22 between 8.30am - 4.30pm each day.

Those unable to swing by Oatly's two-day coffee shop may still be in luck, as from January 13 until 26 Oatly will also be giving away a total of 27,000 coffees in 16 cafés across the UK.

The two Bristol cafés taking part are the Department Of Coffee & Social Affairs in Quakers Friars and Brew Coffee Co on Whiteladies Road.

You'll have to be quick though, as they will be given away on a first come, first served basis.
