Tesco is recalling a baby food product due to the possible presence of pieces of plastic.

The FSAI has stated that the recall was issued today for the Tesco Cottage Pie Mini Meal Adventures amid safety fears.

In a statement, they said: "Tesco is recalling the above batch of its Tesco Cottage Pie Mini Meal Adventures baby food, due to the possible presence of pieces of blue plastic.

"Point-of-sale recall notices will be displayed in stores supplied with the implicated batch."

In terms of the specific details, customers are being advised to note that the batches that are being recalled are the Tesco Cottage Pie Mini Meal Adventures with a pack size of 190g.

The batch code has a best before date of 12/06/2022 and the product's country of origin is France.
