One of Ayrshire's favourite chippies has closed its doors for two weeks.
The Bonnyton Cafe has announced that takeaways will be halted while they undergo a major refit.
The Kilmarnock takeaway, on Bonnyton Road, has been a popular chippy with locals for many years.
The store's Facebook read on Sunday: "As of today we are closed.
"The Bonnyton Cafe is getting a full refit and will be shut for two weeks.
"We can’t wait to welcome you all back to our newly refurbished chippy."
