A legendary local supermarket is selling so many easter eggs in the run up to Christmas that it's had to put restrictions in place.
JCs in Swords is famous throughout North Dublin for its bargains and deals - and also for its quirky traditions.
The long-standing practice of selling chocolate eggs alongside selection boxes has always proved a hit with customers.
Announcing the sale on Facebook, they said:
"A Christmas a long time a go, a tradition.. an unusual tradition was started in North County Dublin, spearheaded by the legendary JC, the tradition of Easter Eggs for Christmas... now in 2018 we have Barry with the first delivery.

Locals have greeted the news with great joy. One excited shopper wrote:
" don't ever change - reminds me of Christmas traditions years ago!"
Another told how for her family, getting Easter eggs at Christmas from JCs has been a family tradition going back years.
She wrote: "Since a child I've always got the Da an Easter egg as part of his Christmas presents and now my partner gets one too!
"I'll admit he thought I'd gone nuts the first year we were together."
Meanwhile another gushed: "I'd much rather this to a selection box."
