Popular south side restaurant open pop up fish and chip shop in Monkstown

Well known restaurant Bresson located in the south side seaside village of Monkstown has opened a pop up food truck for the summer months. The takeaway is conveniently located on the terrace of the restaurant for people passing by to grab something on the go.

With warm summer days still here there are plenty of people braving it for sea swims this summer. The pop up truck by Bresson which has been been named Mermaid has the perfect menu including desserts for a reward after a sea swim or a long walk on the beach.

The truck has appetisers which include pissaladiere, shrimp popcorn, sausage rolls and a pitta pocket which could be a veggie falafel or chargrilled merguez sausage. These all range in price from €5 to €10.50.

For mains there is classic battered cod for €15, a lobster roll which consists of lobster slaw with red pepper, iceberg & spring onion. It also comes with Marie-Rose & old bay seasoning and chips for €24.00. There is also calamari and scallops up for grabs.
