Popular south side Glasgow cafe announces 'heart-breaking' closure as they thank locals

A popular Glasgow cafe has announced that they are set to shut their south side eatery as they thanked people for supporting them.

Taking to Instagram, Honey & Salt Coffee Bar said they "regretfully" had to update their customers, telling them that they made the "decision to permanently close Honey & Salt" on Carmunnock Road next to Hampden Park.

It is not one that came easy, with the cafe writing: "We regretfully must let you know that we have taken the decision to permanently close Honey & Salt. It has been an immensely difficult decision, and we wish there was a better and easier way to say goodbye.
