Popular south side coffee shop looking for a new owner - and it could be you

After more than six months of working from home, with no end in sight, the thought of giving it all up to get into the coffee shop business sounds ideal right about now.

And for one lucky business-minded individual, it could soon become a reality.

A fully-fitted and equipped café on Battlefield Road has been put on the market offering a rare opportunity for one individual to own a slice of the south side.

The current Coffee Scene, opposite Langside Campus of Glasgow Clyde College, is looking for a new owner to give it a new lease of life.

They would be joining the already thriving south side coffee shop scene which already boasts the likes of Grain and Grind and Café Strange Brew.

A posting for the business describes it as "a local institution with repeat custom from loyal clientele and good passing trade" - an ideal set-up for anyone looking to break into the industry.

The businesses average weekly sales are said to be between £3,000 and £4,000 with the cafe currently open between 8am and 7pm during the week, and 9am to 6pm on weekends.

All of the café could be yours until 2028 for just £31,000 a year.
