Popular Facebook page “@queentogetherisone” has decided to shut down for good after posting hot social issues online for one year, drawing over 3 million followers.
On Facebook page "Maem Phodam @queentogetherisone,” the administrator said it was time for her to return to taking care of her family after operating the online page for a long time.
“All good things must come to an end. Over the past year we have done many things that we never thought of before. We had the chance to know followers of our page and we gradually became friends and developed close ties, as if we were a family. Operating the Facebook page is time-consuming and we were unable to screen all people seeking help from our page, or know whether all were good or not, or if whatever they said was correct or not.
"Time passed quickly and my happiness in operating the online page has been replaced with distress and boredom. It’s hard for a single person to handle numerous social problems. I am not so capable like that.
"I think I have had enough. In fact, I wanted to shut down the page early this year, but forced myself to keep on doing it. Now, It’s time for me to take care of my own family members,’’ the key administrator of the page annolunced late on Thursday night.
The page was very popular with Thai netizens, with 3,136,019 followers.
