The 'very sad' closure of a Beeston shoe shop has been announced after 15 years of trading in the town. The Little Shoe Company in Wollaton Road will close due to declining trade, according to a social media post by its owner.
"I am very sad to announce that I am closing my Beeston shop after over 15 years trading in the town," reads a post on the shop's Facebook page. However, the business is set to continue after relocating to Southwell.
"Unfortunately trade has been declining for a number of years and I can’t see it improving so it’s now time for a change," continues the post. "The good news is that The Little Shoe Company will continue as I am moving the business to Southwell.
"Also, I will still be operating my mobile shoe fitting business for local families and the elderly. Over the next few weeks we will continue our clearance sale so come & grab a bargain. Ladies and kids Skechers 20% off tomorrow only."
