A POPULAR restaurant in the south of Glasgow has appealed for information after a late-night break-in.
Trevi Ristorante, on Lochleven Road in Glasgow, was targeted at around 12.14am on Saturday, June 6. Staff say the incident was caught on CCTV, with images showing a hooded intruder moving through the premises.
They added that the person responsible left the restaurant and headed along Lochleven Road.
In a message to the local community, the business said they are working closely with the police and would “greatly appreciate any information” that could help identify the suspect.
They urged anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area around the time of the break-in to contact either the restaurant or the police.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 1.25am on Saturday, 6 June, 2026, we received a report of an attempted housebreaking on Lochleven Road, Glasgow.
"Enquiries are ongoing."
