A popular Wirral restaurant has been told it needs to make urgent improvements after being given a zero-star hygiene rating.
Poseidon in Liscard, Wallasey, was issued the lowest score following an inspection by officers from Wirral Council.
The Greek restaurant on Seaview Road has mostly five star ratings from customers on Google and Trip Advisor but has been told to make improvements by officials.

The full report of the inspection has not yet been made available, but inspections look at three main areas.
In the 'hygienic food handling' Poseidon was told urgent improvement was necessary, this includes preparation, cooking, re-heating, cooling and storage.
Major improvements are necessary in the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building (including having appropriate layout, ventilation, hand washing facilities and pest control) to enable good food hygiene.
And major improvements are necessary in the system or checks in place to ensure that food sold or served is safe to eat, evidence that staff know about food safety, and the food safety officer has confidence that standards will be maintained in future.
The food hygiene rating scheme is run in partnership between the Food Standards Agency and local authorities and gives businesses a rating from five to zero.
The system was set up to help customers make an informed choice about where to eat.
If you are a business in Northern Ireland or Wales you have to display your hygiene rating, but this is voluntary in England.
The owner of Poseidon told the ECHO the team was disappointed to have received a zero star rating and added: "Everything here is brand new and we have made all the necessary changes and are now awaiting re-inspection.
"Customers can come here with the peace of mind that they are going to enjoy a delicious meal with us at Poseidon."
