A pub near Glasgow Central train station has recently been renovated and now looks completely different.
The Grant Arms recently announced it was due to close temporarily to be modernised but in the hope it would keep its character. The popular bar is situated in a storied Victorian property, located on Argyle Street and looks like it has been completely transformed.
In a Facebook post, the team behind the renovation showed the massive amount of change that has occurred since the start of the renovation, they said: "Thanks to all the contractors involved.”

“Big thanks to the staff for helping put the Grant Arms together again.”
The saloon used to have dark brown tables, chairs, alongside and a bar area that was shadowy.
Since the makeover by the new owner it has been restyled into a bright tavern that has given the bar a spark of energy.
This has gone down well with local drinkers who regularly go to the Grant Arms.
One person said: “Wow what a difference looks fantastic.”
Another said: “Looks brilliant be there on Saturday.”
The owner of the bar, said: “We are trying to refresh the bar but wanting to make change but not to its character.”
The Grant Arms is located at 188 Argyle Street and is right beside Glasgow Central Street Station.
