Organisers behind a dinosaur event heading for Rutherglen next month have urged locals to snap up tickets before they go extinct.
Jurassic Encounter Scotland will be at the Cunnigar Loop from October 2 until October 17.
The prehistoric playground is set to feature more than 50 animatronic dinosaur scenes, including a fearsome, 18m tall T-Rex that breathes and sways its tail as it hunts for prey; an Iguanodon’s furious battle against a Deinonychus; Pterosaurs that screech as they soar through the trees; a 15m tall Brachiosaurus guarding her eggs and a 16m long Diplodocus who cries out to passers-by.
Each dinosaur has robotic movements which include arms moving up and down, tails swaying side-to-side, heads moving up and down, eyes blinking, jaws opening wide with realistic roaring sound effects.
Organisers are now reminding locals that tickets currently on offer at 20 per cent off will revert to full price after this weekend.
They can currently be booked using the code EARLYBIRD20 but that will run out shortly.
