The pub first opened in Cramlington in 1985 and since then has enjoyed regular and repeat trade.

The business had cemented a good reputation in the local area for providing a variety of cask ales and wines, according to Kings Business.

It is located in the heart of Cramlington, operating from a substantial property and a Kings marketing campaign generated a lot of interest in the pub, it said.

The owner said: "I wished to sell due to age and family commitments."

With things slowly returning back to normal because of the Covid crisis, people are enjoying going to the pub again.

However it has been a struggle for many business with some owners choosing to sell up and move on.

ChronicleLive recently featured a list of 19 pubs up for sale at the end of August.
