Popular mayonnaise sold in Tesco stores being urgently recalled

The FSAI has issued a recall notice for a batch of Heinz (Seriously) Good Mayonnaise. The product is being recalled because the ingredients are not labelled in English.

The authority stated that the implicated batch contains egg and mustard and that the lack of clear and eligible ingredients poses a risk for those with allergies.

The state: "This may make the batch unsafe for consumers who are allergic to or intolerant of egg and mustard."

For those that may have the product, the identification details are as follows;  Heinz (Seriously) Good Mayonaise, pack size: 680g / 710ml.

The batch number is 0070191, with a best before date of January 1, 2021.

The product is regularly sold in Tesco and multiple other shops.
