Popular Leeds city centre bar to introduce 25 arcade games at fun-packed new venue

One of the city centre's most popular chain of bars is set to become open a fourth venue in Leeds.

Roxy Ball Room has proven to be a big hit in the city, with the opening of a third bar on Merrion Street last year coming in addition to the existing bar on Albion Street and the nearby Roxy Lanes on Bond Street.

The bars offer beers and cocktails alongside all manner of action-packed games, with customers able to book slots on the pool, ping ping and beer pong tables. Similarly, Roxy Lanes has four bowling lanes if that's more up your street.

Now though, it's introducing a new concept called Roxy Arcade. It will take over the Merrion Street bar Loop and in doing so, a tunnel directly linking it with the neighbouring Roxy Ball Room will be opened up.

The karaoke booths at Loop will remain, but token-operated arcade machines will soon be put in place in the basement at Roxy Arcade.

The machines will include the likes of Pinball, as well as Austin Powers and South Park machines. And of course there's room for Space Invaders too.
