Gyms across Kilmarnock opened again this week – but a popular one didn’t.
WG2 near the town centre has not survived the pandemic and they will be closing their doors.
The East Netherton Street premises announced on their Facebook page that they won’t be opening again.
They said: “Well, what can we say?
“It has been a great seven years with plenty of ups and downs along the way, we have met some amazing people and friends throughout the journey.
“It is with a heavy heart that we will be shutting the doors of WG2, the financial strain from Covid has been too much.
“We would like to thank all our members, students and friends for sticking by us and helping with the dream.
“We are looking in to teaching in someone else’s establishment at the end of September, so we hope you can all join us there in the future.”
