An Edinburgh restaurant which went viral after being called home to the 'best fried chicken in the country' has announced a new pop-up - but this time with no two hour queues.
Jimmy's Fried Chicken, or JFC for short, opened earlier this year in the Swanfield Industrial Estate in Leith, and large queues which would last hours at a time were frequently spotted coming from their hatch.
The pop-up restaurant has recently appeared at Bross Bagels in Portobello and at Carousel in London, but this time they're returning to their roots in Leith, but this time you won't have to brace yourself for hours of queuing to get a bite of the action.
That's because JFC will only be taking orders on Deliveroo for their latest appearance and will be 'keeping their radius fairly small' to make sure all of their delivered food is as good as straight out the hatch.
Opening from 4pm on Deliveroo tomorrow, JFC will be available every day until Sunday (with an early opening time of 1pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday).
The team wrote on Instagram: "Our concept is the same high quality fast food, but delivered to your door.
"We'll be buying a certain amount of high grade organic chickens and when they're gone, they're gone.
"The food will be made to order so that you get the ultimate JFC experience.
"We're excited for this next step and there'll be an extended menu - we can't wait!".
