Popular Glasgow south side pizza spot Canotto Pizza announces plans to relocate to East Kilbride

A popular pizza spot in Glasgow's south side has announced it is to relocate to East Kilbride.

Canotto Pizza, which has operated out of Cathcart's Margaretta Buildings since July 2020, announced the move via their Instagram page last week.

They posted: "We're moving. Our lease has come to an end here at Cathcart so we are taking the opportunity to grow and expand our wee business. We will be here, business as usual until Saturday the 28th May.

"We've absolutely loved our time here in Cathcart and couldn't have achieved what we have without all your love and support. So a huge thanks to you all."

The authentic Roman pizza spot is the brain child of local Dom Morton, who was inspired to take the plunge and start his own restaurant after spending a decade perfecting his pizza-making skills.
