Popular Glasgow pub Clockwork reopening its doors following refurbishment

Pubgoers in the south side of the city will no doubt welcome the news that popular local boozer Clockwork plans to reopen its doors to the public next week.

The Mount Florida pub, on Cathcart Road near Hampden Park, has been shut since January for a total refurbishment, and were held back on reopening due to the coronavirus pandemic.

But tomorrow, Friday and Saturday will see them host an opening for 'friends and family' of the Clockwork, with the pub set to reopen fully to the public on Monday.

Bosses have confirmed that it has undergone major changes and that there is a 'whole new concept' to the bar, which will no longer be brewing its own ales and beers on site.

There's also a completely new menu and there's been an expansion of additional ladies toilets, which bosses say make the place "more accessible".

We'll sure be along at some point to see how it looks!
