Popular Glasgow bakery to open new Ayrshire shop selling cruffins and sourdough

A popular Glasgow bakery is to open an Ayrshire shop this weekend.

Sweet Jane Bakery is expanding its offering and will open a store in Kilmarnock this weekend.

Based on Duke Street in the city, the Dennistoun eaterie will bring their range of savoury and sweet treats to Grange Street.

The bakery specialises in sourdough, cruffins (a hybrid of a croissant and a muffin), cookies, Nutella croissants and many more bakehouse favourites.

The new Kilmarnock venue will open this weekend on Saturday, February 11 from 9.30am until they sell out.

The venue was most recently a takeaway which saw On a Roll, based in Bellfield, and McRobert's Food Truck joining forces to take over the cafe.
