A popular furniture store in Perth is set to close.

Laws of Perth will cease trading just after New Year.

It will the curtain down on 50 years in the business for Laurence and Nanette Duncan - 25 of which have been under the Laws of Perth brand.

Accused removed from court after chat with COVID victim contact

An offer on the businesses premises was accepted just after lockdown and the couple took the “difficult” decision to accept.

The business will close in January 2021 to allow it to fulfil all its current orders.

Pitlochry Theatre submits plans for a second performance space

Mr and Mrs Duncan said they wanted to thank their customers for their “loyalty and custom”.

They added: “After 25 years as a successful and well known furniture retailer, it was a difficult decision to make.

“However, we are both now 78 years old and feel it is time for us to finally retire.”
