Two frozen chicken products sold in Ireland have been recalled over fears of salmonella food poisoning.
The Food Safety Authority of Ireland has issued the recall on two items sold in supermarket chain Iceland.
Its Chip Shop Curry 4 Chicken Breast Toppers and its Southern Fried Chicken Popsters are subject to the alert due to the presence of salmonella.
The affected 400g pack size of breast toppers have best before dates of 27/02/2021, 17/03/2021 and 08/04/2021.

And the chicken poppers which come in a 220g pack have a best before date of 04/04/2021.
The food safety chiefs said: "Iceland is recalling the above batches of its Chip Shop Curry 4 Chicken Breast Toppers and its Southern Fried Chicken Popsters, due to the presence of salmonella.
"Point-of-sale recall notices will be displayed in stores supplied with the implicated batches."
The Irish Mirror has contacted Iceland for comment.
