Popular fast food chain Taco Bell is opening a new restaurant in Cardiff.
The American brand has announced it will open its first branch in Wales next week in the Welsh capital, an hour's drive from Bristol.
Fans of the restaurant will be able to eat in or takeaway from the 49-seat restaurant on St Mary Street, reported Wales Online.
It will offer everything from quesadillas to its Taco Tuesday, offering a taco and soft drink for £2.
Some of the most popular choices on the chain's menu include the Crunchwrap Supreme, a tortilla stuffed with chicken, beef or beans served in a shell, and the Big Bell box which combines a burrito, taco, nachos and churros all in one box.
It also offers a quesadilla stuffed with three different variety of cheese, a spicy "volcano burrito" and fries smothered in nacho-cheese sauce, beef, sour cream and salsa.
Bristol Live has asked Taco Bell if the chain is also eyeing up a restaurant in Bristol but has not heard a response.
To celebrate the opening, the brand will offer a free Taco Bell t-shirt to the first 100 customers through the door on Monday, March 2 - the day it opens.
Taco Bell UK spokesperson Lucy Dee said:“ We’re really excited to be opening our first Taco Bell in Wales!
"We’ve had our eye on a potential restaurant in Cardiff for a while, and we know we’ve got plenty of fans in the area who we’re looking forward to welcoming through our doors. To kick off the celebrations in style, we’re giving away a free Taco Bell t-shirt to our first 100 customers."
Originally launched in the United States, there are more than 425 Taco Bell restaurants across 27 countries outside the US.
The company, which also owns KFC and Pizza Hut, aim to expand to a total of 9,000 international restaurants by 2022.
The new restaurant will be the 46th Taco Bell restaurant to open in the UK and will be open from 11am on Monday March 2.
