Falkirk nightclubs are to close as coronavirus restrictions are once again tightened.
Deputy First Minister John Swinney says from December, 27, all such venues should not operate for a period of three weeks, at least.
On Monday it was announced that social distancing and table service only would be brought back in for pubs and restaurants.
All large scale Hogmanay events have also been called off.
Mr Swinney added that required closure will entitle more financial support.
Maniqui bosses announced last night that they'd be closing saying: "Due to the recent restrictions that have been announced by the Scottish Government, we have decided to temporarily close after Christmas Eve.
"This has been a difficult decision, as we were looking forward to enjoying the rest of the year with all of you, but the restrictions have forced us to cancel our Boxing Day & re-schedule our HWFG New Year Party.
"Any updates on both our re-opening & rescheduling of the HWFG Party will be provided on our social media channels, so make sure to stay tuned.
"The good news, is that our Christmas Eve party is still on, so make sure to get yourself down to The Maniqui for one last special celebration!"
