A popular Edinburgh wine bar is set to welcome its second venue in the capital with the launch of its very own wine shop.
Good Brothers Wine Bar, run by brothers Graeme and Rory Sutherland, created a whole new business during lockdown - pivoting from a wine bar to a grocery and booze shop from their Stockbridge premises.
Now the Dean Street neighbourhood wine bar, bottle shop and kitchen have announced that their provisions store is here to stay in a brand new shop on Brandon Terrace in Canonmills.
Opening at 6 Brandon Terrace on the 26th April, WineKraft by Good Brothers will be a wine shop, provisions store and grocer servicing the brilliant Canonmills community and "anyone else that wants us".
Announcing the news on Instagram, the team wrote: "Many of you saw this little teaser a couple of weeks ago. Well, today the big news is the the Good Brothers Family is expanding once more.
"We have just signed the lease for 6 Brandon Terrace at Canonmills. We have been amazingly fortunate to have developed a whole new business throughout lockdown 1,2,3..... with the support of our wonderful customers.
"It has not been easy, and our only measure of success is that we are still here and trading. However, we have decided to position ourselves such that should we ever be faced with the horrors of the last 12 months again as a business, we will have diversified enough to keep trading.
"So, opening on the 26th April (fingers crossed) will be WineKraft by Good Brothers. A Wine Shop, Provisions Store and Grocer servicing the brilliant Canonmills community (and anyone else that wants us!). Our online business will operate as normal just with more choice!
"Those worried we are leaving StockieB, fret not. GB Towers on Dean St is prepping for a full reopening in May with so much cool stuff planned. Let's make 2021 a year to remember."
