Popular Edinburgh venue The Jam House has closed permanently

Popular Edinburgh eatery and music venue The Jam House has closed its doors for good, its former general manager has said.

The live music venue on Queen Street offered food, drinks and dancing, and was popular for its live music and DJs.

The former general manager announced the closure in a post on social media this morning, saying they had made a lot of friends and good memories at the venue.

They said: “It is impossible to contact everyone I got to know through The Jam House so I’m going to do it here.

“This is a post to let everyone know that it has now closed down for ever.

“I’ve made so many friends, met some cool people and had a lot of good times spent there.

"Thank you to all staff, bands, techs, door staff, DJs and customers who became friends for making it such a memorable time.”
