Popular Edinburgh vegan cafe Holy Cow opening brand new city eatery

A popular Edinburgh vegan eatery has launched a brand new cafe promising a ‘different’ range of meat-free treats.

Holy Cow has become the go-to destination for Capital foodies looking to avoid animal products, with the Elder Street restaurant renowned for its towering burgers, mouthwatering sandwiches and delectable sweet treats.

Bosses have now expanded with the launch of the Holy Cow Lounge in Fountainbridge, with assurances of a different dining experience with the same welcoming atmosphere.

Details on the menu are yet to be released, but the Dundee Street eatery is now open for business, with walk-ins and bookings being accepted.

A post on Instagram read: "We are delighted to announce that we have opened our new premises

"Our new Holy Cow Lounge is open for bookings/walk-ins today. If you would like to book then please send us a message and let us know. Our landline should be sorted soon to take bookings too

"Holy Cow Lounge will have a new and different menu and we can't wait for you guys to try.

"The location is 1 Dundee Street, Edinburgh, EH3 9FP and it can be accessed through the art gallery or from the back of the building (from the carpark and Gilmore Park).

"We hope to see you soon."
