An Edinburgh shop has now closed after more than two decades serving local residents and shoppers.
Out of the Blue owners Celia and Derek announced this week that the gift shop had closed its doors for the last time as the couple take retirement.
The shop had first opened in 1997, but will now be open to new tenants after 24 years in the business.
During the summer months, Out of the Blue had held a long retirement sale after announcing they would be closing, however local residents were still saddened to hear they had shut for good.
A message posted in the window of the shop from the couple said: "Well that’s us retiring after 24 years.

"Thank you so much to all out lovely customers for your support and loyalty.
"All your best wishes and gifts were very touching. It’s been a blast! Celia and Derek."

Over their time on Morningside Road, the shop had sold an extensive range of quality and unique cards and gifts, stating that they sold "everything you need for those 'difficult to buy for people'."
Speaking on social media, one customer said: "Sad to see you go but wushu you a great retirement!"
Another replied: "All the best with your retirement Celia and Derek. You will be sadly missed on Morningside Road."
It comes just a week after fellow Morningside shop Stationary Express also announced they had closed up for retirement after a similar 27 years.
