Popular Edinburgh restaurant closes after staff members 'test positive for Covid'

A popular Edinburgh restaurant has announced today that they have made the decision to temporarily close after a small number of workers tested positive for the coronavirus.

Scotts eatery, in South Queensferry, is a popular place for diners and boasts spectacular views of the Firth of Forth. However, they have chosen to shut their doors after staff members contracted the virus.

The business says they are working closely with Health Protection Scotland and the Scottish Test and Protect Scheme and are urging customers with immediate reservations to rebook.

The restaurant took to Facebook today to announce the situation, writing: "We are so sorry to have to announce that following a small number of our team testing positive for COVID, we have taken the voluntary decision to close the restaurant for a short period as a precautionary measure.
