Popular Edinburgh pizza bar Civerinos set to open in Glasgow later this year

A hugely popular Edinburgh pizza bar looks set to open in Glasgow later this year.

Civerinos pizza, which serves up 20 inch New York-style pizzas, currently operates out of four locations in Edinburgh.

And they've been inundated with delivery and collection requests throughout lockdown, with eastcoasters raving about the delicious pizza pies.

And, when the question was put to them on an Instagram post this morning: 'will you ever open in Glasgow?', they responded 'later in the year'.

As reported by our sister site Edinburgh Live, in February, Civerinos opened their fourth capital venue in Corstorphine, adding to already-established New York-style pizzas, shops at Hunter's Square and Forrest Road, as well as the company's High Dive pub and restaurant on St Leonard's Place.

Therefore, Civerinos could soon be joining us in our city to add to Glasgow's already-burgeoning pizza scene.
