A popular doughnut shop in Edinburgh has today announced that they will be expanding to a second location in the capital.
Kilted Donut, based on Great Junction Street in Leith, have revealed that they will be expanding their brand of artisan doughnuts to the plush neighbourhood of Stockbridge.
Posting on their Instagram, Kilted Donut said: "Attention the good people of Stockbridge!!!!
"Donuts are coming to town !!!!!!"
This was the caption of a cryptic photo of a small door, presumably in Stockbridge where they will be opening the new store.
Kilted Donut in Leith are well-known for their incredible doughnut flavours and combinations, and have been in the news for eating contests like the fiery Scotch Bonnet doughnut eating contest in November 2020.

Another popular creation of theirs is the Tunnock's Teacake Doughnut.
The huge filled doughnut is packed full of marshmallow Chantilly cream, coated with a milk chocolate glaze and sprinkled with crushed digestive.
Other weird flavour combos include a Fiery Cheetos ring doughnut: a doughnut covered in fiery Scotch Bonnet hot sauce glaze from the Bonnie Sauce Co covered in crushed Cheetos.
You can find out the opening date for this new store on their website, and keep up to date with all their new doughnut concoctions on their Instagram account.
