According to an advert on Gumtree, Chameleon Cafe at West Port, is on sale for £12,000 and the sale price includes a number of appliances, such as an expresso machine and smoothie maker.

The advert states that the cafe still has four years left on its lease with a longer lease available after that. The rent for the cafe is currently £1000 a month.

The Gumtree advert reads: "Class3 cafe for sale 4 years left on lease .Then year to year thereafter. Longer lease available.

"All equipment included in sale ie new G10 espresso machine electric coffee bean grinder merrychef speed oven smoothie machines fridges and freezers stools and benches ,etc all set up to start operating. Rent £1000 a month."

Like many other businesses in the capital, the cafe is currently unable to open under Scotland's recent coronavirus restrictions which state that businesses can't open if they are "non-essential."

It is one of many popular Edinburgh businesses that we have reported on that have recently gone on sale in the capital.
