A popular cafe and wine bar which operated out of luxury Edinburgh hotel Eden Locke has served customers for the final time this week.
Customers have been left devastated by the news Mavyn will soon be replaced by another operator at the plush George Street accommodation, with the Common Coffee roastery team behind the cafe thanking locals for their support.
They took to Instagram to announce: "As some of you may be aware, Tuesday 31st May will be the final day of trade for Mayvn.

"Thanks so much to @lockehotels, our wonderful suppliers and regular customers for sticking by us through the good and bad times!
"Thanks especially to our amazing staff, as well as the team at Eden Locke with whom we've all grown so close. It's going to be so hard not to see your faces every day.
"Best of luck to the incoming operators, we're sure you'll love being in this special space...see you for a brew soon!"
Mayvn is described on the Eden Locke website as being 'an idyllic destination for creatives and coffee enthusiasts who seek to escape the rush of the historic city', with many people praising the venue for it's lovely atmosphere and good service, as well as their perfectly brewed coffees and evening natural wine selection.
Hopefully we'll see Mayvn in another form soon!
