An Edinburgh bar has become the latest to close after positive coronavirus cases were confirmed.
CC Blooms informed customers on Thursday (July 8) that they would be closing their doors for a week to ensure all safety precautions were taken.
According to the bar, four members of staff at their venue had tested positive for Covid-19, as case numbers remain high in and around the city.
In an update, they stated that two staff members were "pretty much sailing through with very mild symptoms", with the other two experiencing "heavy flu like symptoms."
A post from staff read: "No surprise, but like many other Edinburgh venues, we’ve decided to close until Wednesday 14th July due to cases of COVID and staff being in isolation.
"Stay safe everyone and get vaccinated. Drop-in Centre at EICC for everyone over 18 for 1st jag and 2nd jags after 8 weeks. Even if you already have an appointment letter.
"See you next Wednesday."
It comes as 591 new cases of the virus were recorded in Edinburgh and the Lothians on Thursday, with 2,802 new cases in Scotland as a whole.
