A popular East Lothian Easter event will return this month, as the easing of Covid restrictions means it can run as normal.
The Newhailes Big Top Circus is returning between April 15-17, with the historic house and gardens set to host the popular event in typical fashion after years of complications.
Children will be entertained by circus acts and performers over the weekend, as well as having the opportunity to partake in workshops outside.

Shows are scheduled to run at regular times, from 11am, 1pm and 3pm each day, with performances lasting approximately 45 minutes.
Newhailes House, in Musselburgh, is a 400-year-old estate, complete with a Palladian mansion, woodland walks and the recently renovated Stables Café. Tours around the historic house are also available, which show people around a 'treasure trove of curiosities'.
The house is layered with centuries of interiors, fine art, furniture and ceramics that offer an insight into the lives of the generations of Dalrymple family who once lived here.
The estate hosts all kinds of events, as well as the popular Easter Circus, with open-air theatre, art workshops and a monthly farmers' market all taking place within the grounds.
Admission prices are £8 per ticket, adult or child.
Other Easter-friendly events being held at Newhailes this month include an annual Easter Trail and an educational sunflower planting workshop.
The Easter Trail features an action-packed day of following collecting clues, solving puzzles and winning your very own chocolatey reward, with children and families free to come along any time between 10am and 4pm.
