Popular East Ayrshire eaterie taken over by new owners and set for revamp

A popular Fenwick pub and restaurant will be taken over by new owners this week.

Gareth Kelly, who owned Kilmarnock's Bakers Nightclub for a number of years before recently selling up, and Mikey Lennon, who now co-owns Bakers, will be in charge of the Main Road venue from Thursday.

Gareth, who now owns the Three Craws pub in Irvine, is delighted ahead of the new venture.

He said: "I am happy to announce that from Thursday myself and Mikey will be taking over in the Kings Arms, Fenwick.

"Our food offering will be up and running by April with an amazing concept that I’m sure you will all love and hope to put the Kings back on the map as an Ayrshire eaterie.

"We will also be revamping the beer garden for the good weather coming back with the support of Whitley Neill Gin.️

"Both of us are very excited to get this venue back to its best and with hard work and your support I'm sure we will."
