Dunnes Stores is carrying out a voluntary recall of their Unicorn Sleep & Grow Baby Sleep Bag 2.5 Tog due to "risk of suffocation".
The product was sold between August 2020 and May 2021.
There are approximately 4,480 affected products in the Republic of Ireland.
The sleep bag's serial number is 5099011588787 and the style number is 6454486.
An official product recall notice was posted on the CCPC website.
The post said: "A safety issue has been identified with the affected products where there is a risk of suffocation due to a large neck opening.
"If you purchased one of these products then you should stop using it immediately, and return the product to your local Dunnes Stores shop for a full refund.
