Popular Dublin restaurant forced to close one day a week because they cannot recruit staff ahead of indoor dining reopening

A popular Dublin restaurant has been forced to close one day a week because they cannot recruit any new staff.

Il Corvo is a firm family favourite that has been serving hearty Italian food to the people of north Dublin for many years.

But the Drumcondra joint has sadly taken to social media to inform diners that they will only be able to open six days out of seven ahead of indoor dining coming back next week.

They said: "It is with a heavy heart that we have no choice but to close our restaurant on Mondays (only) from Monday the 26th of July.

"We will remain open Tuesdays to Sundays.

"This is simply due to shortage of staff and not being able to recruit new staff, also the new complicated indoor regulations that adds more stress in a very difficult times for restaurants, our indoor dining numbers will be limited too.

"We remain OPEN Tuesdays to Sundays for outdoor dining and limited indoor dining and deliveries.

"We apologise for any inconvenience and appreciate your continued support. Thank you."
