Popular comic and toy market returns to Rutherglen Exchange

A popular comic book event returned to the Rutherglen Exchange shopping centre last weekend.

The BGCP Comic and Toy Market had a variety of small stalls spread out across the venue, with several goodies up for grabs such as pins, comic books, t-shirts and much more.

The comic market has run on and off over the last few years in the centre, due to Covid.

Neptune Comics, The Art of Fish, Cult Empire Comics, Ivy T-shirts, Catsy’s Alternative Toys Stall and event organiser Ian Bonar all took part on Saturday.

Jane Cowan, manager of Rutherglen Exchange, told Lanarkshire Live: “We were delighted to have helped the BGCP Comic Con organisers host a number of comic markets here.

“The March comic market was the last for a while but we’re confident the full Comic Fair will be back in town very soon and the centre will support the traders, cosplayers and prop masters once again”
