Popular Clifton restaurant closes after staff members test positive for coronavirus

A popular Clifton restaurant has shut after positive Covid-19 cases were reported amongst staff members.

The Burger Joint on Whiteladies Road announced that it will remain closed until January 4.

A note spotted on a sign outside the restaurant, reads: "We are closed until January 4th due to some cases of covid amongst the team."

The gourmet burger venue which also serves vegetarian and vegan burgers stated that its Bedminster restaurant will remain open as usual.

The Burger Joint will reopen next week (Bristol Live)

In the latest Government figures published on New Year's Eve, 1,229 new cases were confirmed across our city. And two more Covid deaths were also reported in Bristol.
