Popular city centre bar burgled twice in four days

Police have released CCTV stills of two men they wish to speak to after a city centre bar was burgled twice in the space of days.

Popular Irish bar The Celtic Corner was burgled twice in the space of four days police have said. The first break-in happened at around 7.30pm on May 21 and the second at around 11.20pm on May 25.

Police said that a juke box, pool table and fruit machine at the Ranelagh Street bar were damaged.

A police spokesman said to the ECHO : "We have issued CCTV images of two men we want to speak to following two burglaries at a bar in Liverpool city centre.

The burglaries happened at around 7.30pm on Thursday 21st May and 11.20pm on Monday 25th May at The Celtic Corner, Ranelagh Street

Damage has been caused to the property inside on both occasions including a juke box, pool table and fruit machine.

Officers would like to speak to these two men as they may be able to assist with their enquiries."
