A popular Chapel Allerton bar has announced it has closed down.
Box, which was formerly The Pit, was known as a spot in Chapel Allerton to watch live sport with a beer and a burger.
The team took to Facebook to tell customers the venue has shut.

The post reads: “Box Chapel Allerton is now permanently closed.
“Thank you so much for your custom over the years, we’ve loved being part of this wonderful community and have met so many friends.”
