Liverpool is set to welcome a new Vietnamese restaurant in the city centre.

Vietnom, a much loved stall at the Baltic Market , has revealed it is opening a permanent venue on Berry Street.

The restaurant, which is opening opposite Neon Jamon, will be serving traditional and influenced Vietnamese dishes, cocktails and coffee - with a brunch service on weekends too.

Taking to Facebook to share the news, the team behind Vietnom said: “MASSIVE NEWS! We are very excited to announce we’ve got a permanent space on Berry Street.

“We have always loved the street and can see so much potential for our new home.

“We’ve been constantly working towards this moment for a long time. It’s been hard but been the best experience to do with your best mate and the boss people of Liverpool who have helped us along the way.

“It’s filled our heart with so much love the people we have come to know and took us under their wing, whether people we’ve worked with, friends and customers who we’ve got to know.

“We thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

“We will be opening soon, so keep your eyes open. We will be serving all day long, with a brunch weekend service thrown in, expect traditional and influenced Vietnamese dishes, cocktails and coffee.

“For now, find us in the Baltic Market!”
