A popular Ayrshire eaterie has closed down for a makeover.
The Stag and Thistle shut its doors earlier this month ahead of radical changes at the Kilmaurs restaurant and bar.
As part of the huge refurbishment job, owners have said that a brand-new menu will coincide with the relaunch.
However, one big change that customers will notice is the name of the eaterie.
The Stag and Thistle will soon be no more as owners have decided to rebrand the restaurant to 30 Main.
The name, presumably, comes from the venue's address – which is 30 Main Street, Kilmaurs.
The restaurant was supposed to relaunch on Saturday, January 25 but owners have said that they've had a few setbacks, although "the place is finally taking shape."
The venue's new opening date has yet to be announced by restaurant bosses.
