Pope Leo XIV reveals favourite football team after chanting with fan

Leo XIV Football AS Roma

Pope Leo XIV, the first US-born leader of the Catholic Church, has publicly shown his support for the Italian football club AS Roma.
Video footage captured the Pope chanting "Forza Roma!" with a fan, seemingly confirming his allegiance to the team.
A close associate previously revealed the Pope's fondness for sports, including tennis, baseball, and his support for the MLB's Chicago White Sox.
Both AS Roma and the Chicago White Sox have welcomed the Pope's affiliation.
The White Sox, currently struggling, sent a jersey and hat to the Vatican, appreciating the Pope's support during a difficult season.
