The Pope has revealed his cure for his sore knee and it might surprise you.
According to a viral video, Pope Francis quips that all he needs for his pain is a shot of tequila.
While riding the Popemobile after a recent audience he stopped in St Peter’s Square to speak to some Mexican seminarians who shouted out to him, asking how his leg was doing.
He must have noticed the Mexican flag the group were holding as he asked them, “Do you know what I need for my knee? Some tequila.”
After much laughter a member of the group offered to bring a bottle to Santa Marta, the guest house where Francis lives in the Vatican.
Pope Francis has been suffering from strained ligaments in his right knee for months and recently has been using a wheelchair and a cane to get around.
Tequila was not part of his doctors’ orders but the 85-year-old Argentine Pope has his own ideas.
